Delicious mediun bodied dry white from a rare grape variety normally found in Portugal. This zingy wine has great depth and acidity with overtones of melon and lime - similar characteristics to sauvignon blanc

Chardonnay grape has lost its reputation due to the over oaking of the juice. The Burgundians know how to extract the real flavour without over oaking and making the wine too oily. Also a good bottle age makes this a lovely drinking wine.

 Made from the Italian Cortese grape, this ripe, crisp fulsome white is harvested late in the season to give even more intensity. Chardonnay grape has lost its reputation due to the over oaking of the juice.

ALSACE

Alsace is situated in the North East of France and has changed hands on numerous occasions between France and Germany over the centuries, so some German wine making techniques exist here with the use of Aromatic grapes. I rate this area as one of the best for white wines in the world - no over production here!!

Well!! what a gutsy, full bodied red with layers of dark cherry, blackcurrant and plums. Aged for 20 months in oak barrels gives a toasty oak vanlla finish and all for under £20 !!
